Regi has experience working with youth and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, establishing boundaries, improving communication, and other mental health and relational difficulties. Regi has worked with clients of varying family & couple relationship structures and specializes in working with LGBTQIA+ clients on sexuality and gender identity exploration. Maintaining a culturally competent and trauma-informed lens is imperative to Regi’s work with his clients, as he believes the intersectionality of our identities can play a significant role in our experiences and view of self.
Providing a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment that fosters openness and authenticity is the central pillar of Regi’s work with his clients. He takes a collaborative and strength-based approach with his clients when identifying goals and treatment approaches for therapy. Regi believes his clients are the experts of their experience, and he strives to guide them as they pursue a more profound sense of self-love and connection with those most important to them. Regi has training in a variety of therapy modalities, with a focus on family systems, including attachment-based approaches, narrative therapy, structural therapy, experiential therapy, Bowenian therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
Regi received his undergraduate degree from Towson University. He holds a master’s degree in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Maryland at College Park.
