Approach to Therapy
From a base of acceptance of the whole person, Stacey works together with her clients to identify their potential and strengths, knowing how capable they already are. She comes alongside of them to reach their goals and live whole, fulfilling lives with deep, meaningful relationships. Stacey approaches therapy as a collaborative effort between her clients and herself to create goals, gain new skills, and overcome challenges. She empowers her clients by listening, accepting, finding their strengths that are already present, and working together to find new ways of coping.
She uses techniques from various theoretical models depending on the clients’ needs, including Cognitive-Behavioral, Emotionally-Focused, Bowen family systems, Structural, Narrative, Adlerian, Internal Family Systems, and client-focused.
Certified in play therapy, Stacey enjoys working with children of all age ranges, from toddlers up.
